This caladium has apparently arrived to me piggybacked on some tuber, most likely on Amorph. henryi with which it is sharing the pot. It must be a seedling of one of the popular horticultural varieties, maybe the "White Christmas". It neved did very well, and decided to expire in 1997/98. These photos quite well illustrate a pronounced change in appearance from juvenile to mature in some aroids. Other pages with this species:
