I am currently working on the systematics of Philippine Alocasia as part of my dissertation research. I also did researches on comparative leaf morphology and anatomy of Philippine Epipremnum and Rhaphidophora (Araceae). I hope to work on Philippine Homalomena after the completion of my dissertation research and eventually will work on the Philippine Araceae. I will also contribute to the treatment of the Araceae for the Flora Malesiana Project.
